Cryogen-free automated thermal desorption system for unattended on-line air monitoring

UNITY–Air Server-xr™ is an air monitoring system that introduces a controlled flow of sample directly into an integral focusing trap, allowing automated on-line analysis of VVOCs and VOCs in air or gas. It is the ideal solution for 24/7 monitoring of volatiles such as PAMS ozone precursors and odorous species, especially in remote locations where unattended sampling at specific time intervals is necessary.

Double sample throughput by simultaneously processing two batches of thermal desorption (TD) tubes

Dual-TD™ is a thermal desorption system designed to maximize sample throughput for dual-channel GC instruments by simultaneously processing two batches of sample tubes.

Featuring two TD100-xr units running in parallel, Dual-TD instantly doubles sample processing productivity. The system also utilizes "overlap mode" to desorb a new pair of samples while the analysis of the previous pair is still underway, completely eliminating GC "idle time." Dual-TD is compatible with any dual-channel GC and is independently certified for operation with Helium, Nitrogen, or Hydrogen carrier gases (Multi-Gas capability).

Dual-TD is the ideal solution for high-throughput laboratories needing to:

- Efficiently carry out large-scale sorbent tube background testing.

- Undertake targeted trace VOCs and SVOCs analysis.

These systems are the ideal solution for homeland security laboratories requiring chemical agent analysis using 4½″ tubes. They offer versatile upgrade options, including compatibility with standard 3½″ tubes. The new DAAMS product line is built on Markes’ proven ‘xr’ platform, integrating the latest generation of cryogen-free focusing trap technology.

TC-20 & TC-20 TAG

Conditioning and dry-purging units for multiple sorbent tubes

TC-20™ and TC-20 TAG™ are compact, stand-alone devices for the simultaneous conditioning or dry-purging of up to 20 thermal desorption sorbent tubes. TC-20 is used by thermal desorption–GC analysts who want to improve their laboratory’s productivity by avoiding using valuable instrument time for conditioning sorbent tubes. TC-20 TAG is a variant of the TC-20 for those who use Markes’ RFID TubeTAG tube tagging system with single-bed sorbent tubes. It is especially useful for those working to the US EPA Method 325 regulation.
